Just
as every ceremony is different, so is each couple. Some like
to choose every piece of music themselves, while others wish
to delegate all decisions to us. We're happy to work either
way, and anywhere in between. Typically, the couple chooses
the bridal processional and the recessional, while our group
chooses the prelude and exit music according to the mood. Though
this method usually makes things run very smoothly, it is, after
all, just one way to do things.
The
following selections are commonly requested songs for wedding
ceremonies. For the prelude, we usually suggest uplifting, soft,
mellow songs. The prelude is played while guests are arriving
to the ceremony location, a time used for creating a calm atmosphere.
The processional suggestions can be used for the seating of
the mothers of the bride and groom and/or for the members of
bridal party. The bridal processional selections range from
traditional to popular and the recessional suggestions are joyous,
fast tempo songs that are appropriate for the end of the ceremony.
Most of the prelude and processional suggestions can also be
used as music for other parts of the ceremony.
